pyjax.net is a website about web development, web design, Python, audio programming, audio production and X3D. It does not focus on one of these topics but rather investigates their combinatory potential.

The website features articles about modern, standard-conform web development using the Python language, the Django web-framework and jQuery.

It offers an X3D prototype repository and how-tos about X3D scripting and prototyping mainly based on - but not limited to - the instantReality framework.

about the author

Peter Eschler is a web- and 3D graphics developer focused on standard based solutions. He is currently living in Offenbach, Germany.

Working for the Fraunhofer IGD from 2001 until 2006 he was involved in a variety of research projects in the area of interactive, real-time 3D computer graphics. He actively explored the boundaries of the VRML97 and X3D standard and took part in the development of the instantReality AR/VR framework.

Besides developing 3D graphics using C++, Java, JavaScript and X3D, he enjoys building modern web applications and XHTML conform websites using Django.

Being addicted by everything that's digital he's producing electronic music for over ten years now and tries to get rid of the geek stamp by doing wild live gigs on a real life stage from time to time.
